We all have a story…

Mine has taken me from stages behind a guitar and a microphone… to duck blinds and wheat fields on the Texas plains… through some incredible highs and some seasons I never would’ve chosen.
Looking back, it’s easy to see that God was writing a story I never could have written myself.
For years, I thought my purpose was found in what I did. First it was music. Today it’s Cadillac Creek Outfitters. But somewhere along the way, God showed me something that changed the way I look at life.
I realized the greatest things I’ll ever build won’t be a business or a brand. They’ll be my faith, my family, and the legacy I leave behind.
A doctor cares for patients. A teacher pours into students. A rancher works the land. An entrepreneur builds a business. We all have different jobs, different gifts, and different stories.
But I don’t believe that’s our true calling.
I believe our true calling is to trust God with whatever He’s placed in our lives, love people well, and never miss an opportunity to tell others what He’s done in our lives.
I’ve learned that some of life’s greatest lessons don’t come from the mountaintops. They come from the valleys. Through loss, disappointment, broken plans, and seasons of rebuilding, I’ve found that God is faithful—even when life doesn’t make sense.
